A: Our A&R team reviews submissions regularly. If your music aligns with our label’s vision, we will contact you for further discussion. Due to the volume of submissions, we cannot provide feedback to everyone, but we appreciate your interest in Zumba.
Rights and Ownership
Q: Who retains the rights to the music after it’s submitted?
A: The rights management depends on the specific agreement between Zumba and the artist. Typically, artists retain rights to their music, although specific terms may vary, especially if a Work for Hire agreement is involved.
Q: Can I submit music that has been released elsewhere?

A: Artists earn money by selling their songs as a Work for Hire. 10 successful song uploads can generate $10,000 USD if sold at $1,000 a piece.

A: Payment’s usually take from one to two weeks max after approval and submission of the data.
